Entrepreneurship & Workmanship

(QS 62:10)

Terlahir Sebagai Kompetitor

Kamus Webster mendefinisikan persaingan atau competition, adalah, “…….a struggle or contest between two or more persons for same object”.

Who is Gary Craig??? si EFT Founder

History of Acupuncture

In China, the practice of acupuncture can perhaps be traced as far back as the stone age, with the Bian shi, or sharpened stones. Stone acupuncture needles dating back to 3000 B.C. have been found by archeologists in Inner Mongolia. Clearer evidence exists from the 1st millennium BCE, and archeological evidence has been identified with the period of the Han dynasty (202 BC–220 AD). Forms of it are also described in the literature of traditional Korean medicine where it is called chimsul. It is also important in Kampo, the traditional medicine system of Japan. Recent examinations of Ötzi, a 5,000-year-old mummy found in the Alps, have identified over 50 tattoos on his body, some of which are located on acupuncture points that would today be used to treat ailments Ötzi suffered from. Some scientists believe that this is evidence that practices similar to acupuncture were practised elsewhere in Eurasia during the early bronze age. According to an article published in The Lancet by Dorfer et al., "We hypothesised that there might have been a medical system similar to acupuncture (Chinese Zhenjiu: needling and burning) that was practised in Central Europe 5,200 years ago... A treatment modality similar to acupuncture thus appears to have been in use long before its previously known period of use in the medical tradition of ancient China. This raises the possibility of acupuncture having originated in the Eurasian continent at least 2000 years earlier than previously recognised. Acupuncture's origins in China are uncertain. The earliest Chinese medical text that first describes acupuncture is the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine (History of Acupuncture) Huangdi Neijing, which was compiled around 305–204 B.C. However, the Chinese medical texts (Ma-wang-tui graves, 68 BC) do not mention acupuncture. Some hieroglyphics have been found dating back to 1000 B.C. that may indicate an early use of acupuncture. Bian stones, sharp pointed rocks used to treat diseases in ancient times, have also been discovered in ruins; some scholars believe that the bloodletting for which these stones were likely used presages certain acupuncture techniques. According to one legend, acupuncture started in China when some soldiers who were wounded by arrows in battle experienced a relief of pain in other parts of the body, and consequently people started experimenting with arrows (and later needles) as therapy. R.C. Crozier in the book Traditional medicine in modern China (Harvard University Press, Cambridge, 1968) says the early Chinese Communist Party expressed considerable antipathy towards classical forms of Chinese medicine, ridiculing it as superstitious, irrational and backward, and claiming that it conflicted with the Party’s dedication to science as the way of progress. Acupuncture was included in this criticism. Reversing this position, Communist Party Chairman Mao later said that "Chinese medicine and pharmacology are a great treasure house and efforts should be made to explore them and raise them to a higher level." Representatives were sent out across China to collect information about the theories and practices of Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine is the formalized system of Chinese medicine that was created out of this effort. TCM combines the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tui na, and other modalities. After the Cultural Revolution, TCM instruction was incorporated into university medical curricula under the "Three Roads" policy, wherein TCM, biomedicine, and a synthesis of the two would all be encouraged and permitted to develop. After this time, forms of classical Chinese medicine other than TCM were outlawed, and some practitioners left China. The first forms of acupuncture to reach the United States were brought by non-TCM practitioners -such as Chinese rail road workers- many employing styles that had been handed down in family lineages, or from master to apprentice (collectively known as "Classical Chinese Acupuncture"). In Vietnam, Dr. Van Nghi and colleagues used the classical Chinese medical texts and applied them in clinical conditions without reference to political screening. They rewrote the modern version: Trung E Hoc. Van Nghi was made the first President of the First World Congress of Chinese Medicine at Bejing in 1988 in recognition of his work. In the 1970s, acupuncture became vogue in America after American visitors to China brought back firsthand reports of patients undergoing major surgery using acupuncture as their sole form of anesthesia. Since then, tens of thousands of treatments are now performed in this country each year for many types of conditions such as back pain, headaches, infertility, stress, and many other illnesses.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture (from Lat. acus, "needle", and pungere, "prick") or in Standard Mandarin, zhēn biān (a related word zhēn jiǔ refers to acupuncture together with moxibustion)[3] is a technique of inserting and manipulating filiform needles into points on the body with the aim of relieving pain and for therapeutic purposes.[4]. Acupuncture is thought to have originated in China and is most commonly associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Different types of acupuncture (Classical Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, and Korean acupuncture) are practiced and taught throughout the world. The effectiveness of acupuncture remains controversial in the scientific community, according to a review by Edzard Ernst and colleagues in 2007, which found that the body of evidence was growing, research is active, and that the the "emerging clinical evidence seems to imply that acupuncture is effective for some but not all conditions".[5] Researchers using the protocols of evidence-based medicine have found good evidence that acupuncture is moderately effective in preventing nausea.[6][7] There is conflicting evidence that it can treat chronic low back pain,[8][9] and moderate evidence of efficacy for neck pain[10][11] and headache.[12] For most other conditions[13] reviewers have found either a lack of efficacy (e.g., help in quitting smoking[14]) or have concluded that there is insufficient evidence to determine whether acupuncture is effective (e.g., treating shoulder pain[15]). While little is known about the mechanisms by which acupuncture may act, a review of neuroimaging research suggests that specific acupuncture points have distinct effects on cerebral activity in specific areas that are not otherwise predictable anatomically.[16] The WHO, the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the American Medical Association (AMA) and various government reports have also studied and commented on the efficacy of acupuncture. There is also general agreement that acupuncture is safe when administered by well-trained practitioners, and that further research is warranted.[17][18][19] Traditional Chinese medicine's acupuncture theory predates the use of the modern scientific method, and has received various criticisms based on modern scientific thinking. There is no generally-accepted anatomical or histological basis for the existence of acupuncture points or meridians.[17] Acupuncturists tend to perceive TCM concepts in functional rather than structural terms, i.e. as being useful in guiding evaluation and care of patients. [20] [21] Scientists have reported a cultural bias in scientific studies of acupuncture

Law Of Attraction Tools

Assume you have watched the Law Of Attraction or The Secret movie. You already know that you need to exude positive energy vibrations in order to attract more abundance (be in health, relationships, love, money or success) into your life. Yet, you find it hard to suddenly become positive. If anything, you are still net-negative in your energy vibrations. So what’s the use of knowing about the Law of Attraction, when you cannot use it to manifest for what you desire? Your mind continues to be stuck in old habits of negative thinking. You may even have low self esteem or self worth to begin with. Thoughts like “loser”, “I am not good enough”, “I do not deserve this” are often thoughts that run through your mind. These are thoughts that can cancel out any positive thoughts that you hope to exude, while attempting to apply the Law of Attraction. From my experience, it may be helpful to think of your mind as a muscle. You need to exercise and practice the things that you have learned in order to get the muscle in shape. You need to get rid of old habits of thinking. By training your mind to think positively, you can expand its horizon and open yourself up to greater abundance. Luckily, there are several tools and techniques that can help. For simplicity, I call them “Law of Attraction Tools”. These tools and techniques are all backed by scientific experiments and proven concepts. Thousands of people have sent in their testimonials in support of them. It is possible to emulate the rich and successful, by adopting the same mindset. Below is a list of Law of Attraction Tools, that are highly effective in helping you to move towards a positive mindset. Some of them are free and you can easily apply them, while the rest requires you to make a purchase. I have personally reviewed them myself and highly recommend them. 1. Positive Affirmations Affirmations are short phrases or sentences that can be spoken on a regular basis to send messages to your subconscious mind. Positive thinking can be validated by affirmations. Affirmations must be phrased in the present tense and indicate that the desired effect is already manifested physically. Here is a simple one to illustrate “I easily attract abundance, from multiple sources, in ever increasingly amounts”. By repeating affirmations, you will be affecting the energy around you and using the Law of Attraction to create your positive environment. 2. Subliminal Messaging A subliminal message is a signal or message embedded in a video or audio, designed to pass below the normal limits of perception. These messages are indiscernible by the conscious mind, but can affect your subconscious mind. You can use subliminal messaging for affirmations for abundance and that you are worthy to be wealthy. If you are like me, and constantly on the PC, try out this Subliminal Power software. Subliminal Power unattrusively flashes positive affirmations across your screen, while you work. I love it! 3. Neutralize Negative Emotions With EFT I use the EFT technique extensively to neutralize my negative thoughts and emotions. EFT is basically using a series of tapping movements with your fingertips to stimulate known energy meridian points. You can use EFT on virtually anything, from phobias to traumas, stress or for pain relief. Read my review here ==> EFT Tapping. 4. The Sedona Method Here’s another program that I highly recommend. It’s called The Sedona Method. You can use it to Improve All Your Relationships , target negative beliefs and to relieve stress. Turn your positive vibes up with this program! 5. Visualization Boards This is a home exercise that you can easily do. Simply gather a couple of lifestyle magazines. Cut out pictures that represent what you desire. For instance, if you desire health, cut out a picture of someone who looks fit. Make these pictures as close to the images that you have in mind. Paste them all on a piece of paper and hang it on the wall that is highly visible to you everyday. Constantly, look at this paper to build an “imprint” in your mind. 6. Silva Mind Control Creatively visualize while in the alpha level can bring about enhanced results. The Silva Method has already one million graduates worldwide. Read my reviews here ==> Silva Mind Control. 7. Wealth Beyond Reason I recently came across a collection of materials that explains Wealth like I’ve never seen before. I’ve studied wealth and prosperity for quite some time, but this material really put everything together for me in a way that I can understand and implement right away with amazing results. Here’s the information to Wealth Beyond Reason. 8. Brainwave Entrainment Train your brain to peak performance by simply listening to an audio. Make it a daily exercise by learning from Stephen Pierce, a self-made millionaire, here ==> Attraction Accelerator. 9. The Science Of Getting Rich Getting rich is a science. Learn from the gurus from The Secret movie themselves with The Science Of Getting Rich. I guess the point is that a positive mindset is the difference between success and failure, between abundance and poverty. Employ every technique you can to turn your life in the direction you want it to go. Make Yourself A Magnet For Abundance! amin.

Definition of Holistic Health

What is the definition of holistic health? It's a wellness approach that addresses the body, mind and spirit or the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of an individual.Traditional medical doctors treat the body and ignore the mind, conventional mental health professionals treat the mind and ignore the body. Neither one of them address the spiritual. Both of them treat symptoms with drugs or surgery rather than looking for what causes the symptom. A holistic health approach doesn't view the body, mind and spirit as separate entities and promotes drugs and surgery only when absolutely essential and after other solutions have been sought. It looks for the underlying causes of symptoms, rather than just covering up the symptoms with a drug. The body, mind and spirit are not independent of one another. They are intertwined. What affects one affects the others. A philosophy that focuses on only one aspect is an incomplete approach. The definition of holistic health may encompass many different elements depending on which field of though you're dealing with. It is sometimes referred to as complimentary health, alternative health or natural health. These terms are often, but not always interchangeable. A treatment approach can be complimentary, alternative or natural without necessarily being holistic. However, most holistic approaches are considered to be complimentary, alternative or natural. Treatment approaches are highly individualized for the unique needs of each individual and the patient and their practitioner make decisions together as partners to develp the health care plan. Many different kinds of health practitioners embrace a holistic health approach. Mental Health Counselors, Educators, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Environmental Medicine, Homeopaths, Dentists and even some Medical Doctors are becoming enlightened.Within the holistic health concept you're likely to find a variety of different treatment approaches. The focus may be on avenues such as environmental health, accupressure, nutritional counseling, massage, homeopathy, meditation, dietary changes, food allergies, vitamin supplementation, exercise, oxygen therapies, herbs, organic living to name a few. There are a variety of holistic health organizations designed to advocate holistic health, inform the public, and assist practitioners that can help you achieve a better understanding of holistic principles and guide you to the resources you may desire. A definition of holistic health would not be complete without highlighting the fact that wellness approaches in the holistic field are considered to be wholesome, healthy and not harmful or toxic to the individual or the environment. They promote balance and harmony for the individual, society and the planet. A holistic approach encourages the individual to engage in self care and educate themselves about their health. It urges them be an active participant in their treatment and health care, rather than giving all the power to a health care provider. Here at Holistic Help my focus is on Mental Health Issues and Living with Chronic Illness or Chronic Pain. You'll find a variety of holistic self care strategies and alternative health advice. Being healthy does not necessarily mean the absence of disease or illness. It is about living as completely and optimally as possible with the limits that you face

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
